made World War I biplane fighter, known as the Sopwith Camel.
Introduced on the Western Front in 1917, the Sopwith
 Camel
was credited with shooting down more enemy aircraft than any other Allied
Fighter in the war. These models feature intricate details in the
cabin and throughout the aircraft, including leather covered seats, metal
struts and engine covers, even a laminated wood propeller. While each
size includes the same level of detail, the largest size is also available
with a transparent color option. Lightweight frames are stretched with
fabric for the large size. Choose a size as space will allow, any size
would make an ideal gift for a vintage flight enthusiast.
