1. |
Do not expose the
furniture to extreme hot/cold/direct sunlight/high moisture. |
|
2. |
Dust frequently. |
|
3. |
Clean up spills
immediately. Use a blotting action rather than wiping action. |
|
4. |
Clean with
furniture polish. |
|
|
a. |
Do
not use furniture polish that contains wax. Wax polishes can cause a
build-up of film on the surface of the furniture that can attract more dirt,
smoke and other pollutants. |
|
|
b. |
Avoid polishes that contain silicone. Silicone oil is an ingredient used to
create a high degree of shine, however it deeply seeps into the finish and
becomes very difficult to remove. |
|
5. |
Never use solvents
to clean the surface, such as glass cleaner or disinfectants. |
|
6. |
Use a soft,
lint-free, absorbent cloth for cleaning and polishing. |
|
7. |
Use felt
underneath objects on top of furniture to avoid surface damage. |
|
8. |
Fossil Stone
surfaces can be wiped with a wet (watered) rag. |
