French Writing Desk - "Belle Lettres"
Similar to the traveling desk used by Lord Byron as he
spent years touring Italy and Greece, this lovely desk is recreated from a
French writing desk of around 1800. The fold down desk top allows
extra workspace when needed, and a more compact size when not in use.
Practical and aesthetically pleasing, the side drawers are numbered, a
surprisingly handy organizational feature. Sturdy hardwood
construction with solid brass hardware. Distressed French finish.
